The Department of Film, Audiovisuals, and Digital Arts (DECAAD), which is part of the Chaco Institute of Culture, is calling for translators to apply in order to compile a list of professionals willing to offer their services in the field of audiovisual content.
Interested translators can sign up using a form available on Facebook (Decaad Chaco) or Instagram (@decaad.chaco) to be included in a registry of professionals in the field.
It is important to note that applicants must be residents of or employed in the province of Chaco, Argentina, and must have completed or hold training in subtitling and audiovisual translation. The list will be available to directors, production companies, distributors, television channels, companies, and institutions, who will be able to consult this registry of professionals to hire their services in the audiovisual field.
Although it is a relatively new specialty, audiovisual translation is one of the areas that has grown the most in recent years within the field of translation, and it is a field with great potential for growth.
