The Department of Latin Philology is organizing a conference titled “Philologists, Translators, and Poets: On Catullus, Sulpicia, and Horace” as part of the VERBA SI VALENT series.
The speakers will be:
Jaime Siles, professor of Latin Philology at the University of Valencia, translator, and poet.
Aurora Luque, Ph.D. in Classical Philology, translator, and poet.
Juan Antonio González Iglesias, professor of Latin Philology at the University of Salamanca, translator, and poet.
The conference will take place on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. in the García Lorca Room at the School of Philosophy and Letters, DA VINCI Virtual Room.
